Rabbit Pot Pie

First bake one rabbit at 350 until done.

Peel and dice:
1 large potato
2 two large Carrots
1 med onion
Add Peas
Boil the vegetables and drain.
Make a Gravy with Chicken or Beef Bullion
Add Rosemary and Thyme to taste.
mix with veggies
cut up the rabbit and add the meat veggies and gravy together
put in a pie shell and bake at 350 for 35 minutes.

I make my own pie crust, but a pre-made pie shell would be a whole lot easier. But here is a basic pie crust recipe.

2c Flour
2/3 c shortning
1 t salt
3 T cold water.

Mix flour and salt.
add half of the shortening
Cut shortening into the flour
When it is pea sized or smaller add the rest of the shortning
When that is cut in and the size peas dribble the 2 T of very cold water over the dough and cut that in too.
Gather the dough in a ball and cut in half then let rest in fridge for 15 minutes. This recipe is enough for top and bottom crusts.
